From Struggling to Soaring: iPads for Targeted UFLI Interventions
My students come to me as very eager learners but some face significant challenges when it comes to reading. The school supports their literacy development through small group intervention, using UFLI instruction. I work each day with struggling readers, providing individualized support to close the learning gap and foster a love of learning.
An iPad would make small group lessons more meaningful and engaging for the students.
The versatile tool will help students use interactive apps and digital resources aligned with UFLI.
The students will practice letter sounds, blending, and decoding in a fun and engaging way!

Thank you so much for your generosity in funding my project. My students will greatly appreciate the iPad and the work they can do on it during our UFLI lessons. The iPad will encourage more hands on learning throughout our small group reading sessions and keep the students more engaged.
With gratitude,
Ms. Erway

Ignite Young Minds with the Miracle of Live Butterflies
My students are curious, imaginative, and eager to explore the world around them. They thrive when learning is hands-on and interactive, and they love discovering new things through real-life experiences. The Painted Lady Butterfly Kit will give them the chance to witness the incredible life cycle of butterflies up close, making science both exciting and tangible. With live caterpillars, a habitat, and a STEM journal, this resource will deepen their understanding of metamorphosis and spark their natural curiosity about biology and the environment.
This project aims to inspire a lasting love of science by connecting students directly with nature’s wonders.
Watching caterpillars transform into butterflies will not only teach scientific concepts but also encourage patience, observation skills, and responsibility. My goal is to foster a classroom environment where wonder leads to questions, and questions lead to discovery. My students are special because they approach challenges with enthusiasm and creativity, and they deserve resources that support their unique learning styles and ignite their passions.
By providing this butterfly kit, I can help my students experience science in a way that textbooks alone cannot offer. This hands-on learning opportunity will engage multiple senses, making lessons memorable and meaningful. Supporting their growth with tools like this will build confidence and inspire the next generation of thinkers, dreamers, and problem solvers.

Thank you so much for your generous support!
I’m thrilled to share that our butterfly project has been fully funded! My students are so excited to watch Painted Lady butterflies grow, change, and take flight this spring. This hands-on experience will help them understand the life cycle in such a fun and meaningful way.
Your generosity has made this special learning opportunity possible, and we are so grateful for your kindness and belief in our classroom.
With gratitude,

For the Love of Reading
Because of my teachers growing up, I was able to find a love for reading. As a third grade teacher I want to do the same for my students. I would love to give them many book options that allow them to find a passion for reading.
Some of these books are Social emotional books that I can read with my class that will help them with their emotions and give them tools to self regulate. I also hope to make my library more of a mirror that reflects my students, their cultures, and families.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We are so grateful and lucky to be receiving these books to find a passion and love for reading! I am super excited for the SEL books that were purchased to work with my class on their emotions. I also can’t wait for some of the read alouds that I will get to read to foster togetherness and curiosity!
With gratitude,
Ms. Barker

Building Bonds & STEM Learners in Pre-K
We have a number of students who come from various backgrounds, speak a few different languages, and have experienced a great deal in their 3 years of life. One thing that seems to bond them, no matter what their background, life experience(s), or first language might be, is the power of play. In playing together and building with STEM materials, they have begun to build precious bonds. However, we are in need of more materials to offer them.
Our students love to explore through tinkering--taking materials apart, putting them back together, or building something new.
Having more open-ended materials for our students would give them more opportunities to be creative, practice scientific concepts like cause and effect, along with engineering beautiful structures. The possibilities are endless!
These materials tie into a number of our curriculum units, like buildings and roads. They will make a wonderfully appreciated and much-needed addition to our STEM bins we have for our Choice Time (free play) portion of the school day. No matter what prior knowledge or exposure a student in our class has had to these materials, they will begin to foster learning while engaging the students, having fun, learning, and creating those bonds!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for coming together and funding our project! We cannot wait to get these new materials and introduce them to our students. This will open a whole new world of possibilities for them where they will be able to explore and build endlessly.
Thank you for not only all of your commitment to your/all students in previous years, but your continued support for those of us that are still teaching. Our students are going to be super thrilled to engage with these new manipulatives.
With gratitude,
Mrs. Pontius

Classroom Novels: The Giver
I have started this project to give my students better access to classroom texts. Many of our current books are well-loved and in need of replacement, making it challenging for students to keep up with their reading.
Absenteeism in our community poses a significant barrier to learning.
Without enough copies of The Giver to send home, students may fall further behind, hindering their growth and opportunities. In today's world, eliminating at least one challenge for students can make a meaningful difference.
By donating to this project you can help me ensure all students have access to essential learning materials outside of the classroom.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thank you for funding my project. It truly means a lot that organizations such as yourself take the time to give back to public education.
I know that my students will not only appreciate the experience but the opportunity to read the series in its entirety. My students and myself are thankful for your help.
With gratitude,
Ms. Jordan
